Hello to all users,
I am looking for an easy to handle scada software and I am playing a little bit with Tesla Scada.
I have connected a temperature control system via ModBus. The connection works well and I can read setvalues, actual values etc.
But I did not find how to read and display simple ASCII strings.
I defined a string tag with 16 elements but I can not find the right object or way to show the text on the screen.
Is there anybody who can show me the right way.
Thanks

For Teslamodbuscada you can setup User-defined tags in Servers menu. Choose String and bind it to modbus registers. I recommend you to use our new product-TeslaSCADA2 it lets you to setup tag and choose String data type.

Best regards,
Ruslan
