TOPIC: TRENDS DATABASE

TRENDS DATABASE 7 months 2 weeks ago #2563

Dear sir,

The issue faced is that we have installed 4 licenses (Multi protocol & unlimited tags)in one of our customers factory.
The trends were looking good while commissioning.
Over the time period the issue faced now is that some of the trends are not showing.
I have attached the screenshots of the tag properties.
Please let me know about this issues.
I have changed the default value for SAVE PERIOD(ms) from 10000ms to 1000ms for all my trend tags.

Kind Regards,
Yogesh Kandari

Dear Yogesh,

What version of TeslaSCADA do your customers use? What's database type (SQLLite, MySQL or other)?

Best regards,
Ruslan

Dear sir,

The version used is 2.58 .
i have no information regarding the database type.
Actually i just ticked the enable history and store in DB option and the trends started displaying. But after 10-15 days, this issue is being faced.
Also the when we open the trend window, the trends are displaying very late (after 1 minute or more).

Kind Regards,
Yogesh Kandari

Dear Yogesh,

This is usually happens if you use SQLLite database, store a lot of tags in database and use a big Storage DB period (you can check in Project properties ->Events/History tab). SQLLite DB file becomes very big (you can check it in DB folder where installed TeslaSCADA Runtime) and data is handled by during a very long period. You can solve this problem by using other databases (MySQL for example), by using Archive period or if you no need a big storage period, beneath it.

Best regards,
Ruslan
