TOPIC: Log file under Ubuntu 22.04 Linux

I've installed an eval version under Ubuntu 22.04.
May I know where is the log files location under Linux for us to troubleshoot?

Log file you can find out in the folder where installed TeslaSCADA IDE or Runtime in the logs folder.

Found them under:But they are own by root.
Does that mean the runtime should be run by the root user?
Because if the directory is own by root, normal user might not be able to write into the logs directory.

You can try to provide access for the user you want.

Currently:
log4j2.properties and log4j.properties and store in the TeslaSCADA2_Runtime.jar it self

Question:
How can we override it with my custom log4j2.properties?
For example if we want to change the:

1. roll over strategy
2. log level
3. add more appenders
4. log location

You can place your own log4j2.properties file in the directory where installed TeslaSCADA2 Runtime. This file will be used in this case.
