TOPIC: Redundancy server

Hi,
Currently my primary server has one incoming data (from modbus tcp) and this incoming data is stored in mysql. I would like to set up secondary server using direct type (see redundancy.PNG). Can I know this URL is pointed to mysql or modbus tcp?
If it is modbus tcp. can I have the sample URL in order to connect to modbus?

Hello San,

You have to setup url of the OPC UA server of primary TeslaSCADA2 Runtime. It needs because secondary Runtime gets information of condition of primary Runtime by OPC UA protocol anyway independently of getting data type. I got a few question after watching the video
1. In the video mentions to enable redundancy server, but did not mention need to create OPC UA server (see Capture1.PNG). Can I know is it correct to create OPC UA server?
2. The tag value properties in redundancy should point to modbus server or OPC UA (if it's created). If it's pointed to OPC UA server, why it shows cannot connect to server even if I have created the OPC UA server?

Hello,

1. In the video it's described how to setup OPC UA server (about 1:00 minute). You can setup it in Project properties on OPC UA tab.
2. On the Server tab you create only Modbus server. This Modbus server collect information from your Modbus device. You no need in this Server section create OPC UA server. You have to setup OPC UA in Project properties.
