I recently tried to connect to S71200 and retrieve some tags onto TESLASCADA2 but and it said connection lost.
I did permit access with PUT/GET communication with a remote partner.
Now, I am trying to go about publishing the tags on TeslaSCADA through MQTT, how do I go about it?
Can anyone offer a sample I could refer to?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You want to use MQTT client to have possibility to connect to some broker or you want to publish data you collect from Siemens PLC to some other broker. TeslaSCADA doesn't have internal broker. It has MQTT client and MQTT publisher. Examples you can watch in these videos:
teslascada.com/videotutorials/teslascada...ls/207-mqtt-protocol

Sorry. Lemme rephrase that, I wished to use the MQTT publisher on TESLASCADA2 to publish the retrieved tags onto a broker using MQTT. the reference you provided should be enough. However, do you have any suggestions on how to rectify the connection issue between my S71200 and TESLASCADA2.

If you check "Permit access..." you have to check your ethernet connection. What message do you have? If you have "Can not connect to the server" you have to try to ping your PLC from your PC. Do you use TeslaSCADA2 Runtime to connect to the Siemens PLC?

I have pinged my PLC's IP address and I do get a signal. What do you mean by message? Where should I get the message? I already checked the "Permit access". Yes, I did try the runtime.

When you start TeslaSCADA2 Runtime with your project, what message did you get? Usually if it's not possible to connect to PLC TeslaSCADA Runtime shows "Can not connect to server" or "Connection lost" messages.
