Hi there
I am having a problem with addressing to bit level whilst communicating to an existing CompactLogix PLC processor. The existing PLC bit addresses are formatted as follows:
N18[28].0 which is represented as the following tag in TeslaSCADA, type=0;name=N18[28].0, I cannot get this to work as bit to be controlled by a pushbutton. However if I create a new Boolean tag with just a simple name 'mybutton' this works fine. Is it possible to address an array to bit level in a CompactLogix please?

Regards
Steve

Hello Steve,

Unfortunately it's not possible to get the bool value formatted in this way. You have to in the PLC make reassign this value to the tag like 'mybutton' in your example. Or get N18[28] and by using TeslaSCADA script extract the bit your want.

Best regards,
Ruslan
