Hi,

I had deployed the TeslaSCADA2 runtime with Modbus only is about 160+ tags only. There is no database operation at all.

When started the CPU usage is about 20% with memory of 600MB. this pattern was observed for about 30 minutes - presume it will run in this state.

However, after about 3 hours the , CPU usage is about 75% with 2000MB memory.

Would there be any memory leak or should i consider in the setup to avoid this continues increase of the CPU and Memory usage.

Thanks

Hello,

What's version of TeslaSCADA do you use? Can you send us your project?

Best regards,
Ruslan

Dear Ruslan,

I use TeslaSCADA2. Communicating via Modbus TCP

I did some investigation for some hours , reducing tags , objects etc. Still has pattern of increase in memory - even with 4 tags

Finally, I change the Modbus TCP Server "Request Type" settings from Consecutive Registers to Maximum Registers.
This somehow resolve the issues.

The CPU is reduced from 75% to average of 16% (maintain)
The memory also reduced from 2000MB to < 400 MB (maintain)

In both cases, the TeslaSCADA2 send the same Hex Bytes to the device, but possibly you process it differently based on Request Type.

The issue is resolved.

Thanks
